🛎️ The Role & Responsibilities

As the General Manager, you will serve as the primary strategic business leader of Sheraton Colombo Hotel, overseeing all aspects of hotel operations. Your key responsibilities will include:

• Operational Leadership: Manage daily hotel operations across all departments, ensuring seamless service delivery and adherence to brand standards.

• Financial Stewardship: Develop and implement strategies to achieve financial goals, including budgeting, forecasting, and cost control measures to maximize profitability.

• Guest Experience Excellence: Ensure exceptional guest service by addressing concerns promptly and implementing initiatives that enhance guest satisfaction and loyalty.

• Sales & Marketing Strategy: Collaborate with the sales and marketing teams to drive revenue growth through targeted campaigns, partnerships, and promotions.

• Team Development: Lead, mentor, and inspire a diverse team, fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement.

• Compliance & Standards: Ensure compliance with all local regulations, Marriott policies, and brand standards to maintain operational excellence.

🎯 What We’re Looking For

We seek a dynamic and visionary leader with:

• Experience: A minimum of 6 years in hotel management, with at least 2 years in a senior leadership role.

• Education: A bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related field.

• Skills: Strong financial acumen, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and a proven track record in driving operational excellence and revenue growth.

• Attributes: A passion for hospitality, a commitment to guest satisfaction, and the ability to lead and inspire teams in a fast-paced environment.
