Job description

Job Summary:

The General Dentist is responsible for providing comprehensive dental care, including preventive, restorative, and cosmetic procedures. With implant privileges, the dentist will also perform surgical placement and restoration of dental implants in accordance with current clinical standards and safety protocols.

Key Responsibilities:
• Diagnose and treat oral health issues including tooth decay, gum disease, and oral infections.
• Perform routine dental procedures such as cleanings, fillings, crowns, bridges, root canals, and extractions.
• Conduct surgical placement of dental implants, bone grafting, and implant restorations.
• Develop treatment plans based on patient needs and clinical findings.
• Educate patients on oral hygiene, treatment options, and post-operative care.
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.
• Collaborate with hygienists, assistants, and other dental professionals.
• Comply with all infection control, sterilization, and health & safety guidelines.
• Stay updated with the latest technologies, techniques, and continuing education in general and implant dentistry.

Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s Degree in Dental Surgery (BDS or equivalent)
• Valid DHA/MOH/DOH license or eligibility (as applicable)
• Recognized training and certification in dental implants
• Minimum 2–3 years of experience in general practice with proven implant cases
• Strong communication, patient care, and team collaboration skills
