Key Duties

Liliana Bloch Gallery is seeking a dedicated Gallery Assistant to support the smooth operation of our Dallas gallery. This role involves assisting with daily administrative tasks, maintaining a welcoming environment for visitors, and supporting exhibition activities. Key responsibilities include:

• Greeting and assisting visitors, providing insights on exhibitions and artists.

• Managing gallery sales, including handling transactions and recording purchases.

• Supporting the setup and takedown of exhibitions, including artwork handling.

• Maintaining a clean, organized, and visually appealing gallery space.

• Assisting with administrative tasks, such as data entry, scheduling, and correspondence.

• Using gallery software and digital tools (InDesign, Adobe Suite, Square, Windows/iCloud) to support operations.

Requirements

• Strong customer service and communication skills.

• Familiarity with gallery operations and art administration.

• Passion for art and cultural engagement.

• Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.

• Attention to detail and problem-solving capability.

• Ability to work independently while supporting the gallery team proactively.

• Proficiency with digital tools including InDesign, Photoshop, and Square.

• Bachelor’s degree in Art, Art History, or related field preferred but not required.
