Job descriptionKey Details:
• The position offers flexibility with full or part-time options, allowing candidates to work between 20 to 40 hours per week.
• The nursing team operates on Saturdays as part of a rota, and the practice is willing to accommodate specific scheduling needs for the right candidate.
• No OOH or overnight inpatient checks.
About The Role:
• An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Registered Veterinary Nurse to join a small animal practice located in Liverpool, Merseyside.
• This role is suitable for enthusiastic individuals who wish to become part of a friendly and welcoming team.
• The successful candidate will have the opportunity to utilise their nursing skills to their full potential.
• Responsibilities include admitting patients, monitoring anaesthetics, performing schedule 3 procedures, recovering, and discharging patients.
• Support from VCAs and an SVN is available for theatre turnaround and patient preparation.
The Candidate:
• The practice seeks a nurse with solid general nursing experience in a fast-paced environment, ideally with at least 3 years post-qualification experience. However, candidates with less experience are also welcome to apply.

Salary: They are offering a competitive salary up to £30,000 pro rata, reflective of skills and experience.

About the Practice
The practice is situated in the bustling Penny Lane Retail Park and offers a fantastic location with state-of-the-art equipment and ample onsite parking. It is a RCVS accredited General Practice and a nurse training practice. The practice has been accredited with ISFM and RWAF to be cat and rabbit friendly at silver level. The practice is equipped with modern facilities, including digital x-ray and ultrasound, ensuring high-quality care. Operating hours are designed to accommodate various schedules, enhancing professional flexibility. The team includes several veterinary surgeons and dedicated support staff.
