Job description

Job Summary
We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Front of House Staff/Party Host to join our vibrant team. The ideal candidates will play a crucial role in providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere for our guests. As a member of the Front of House team, you will be responsible for various duties that enhance the dining experience, from greeting customers to assisting with food and beverage service.

Duties
• Greet and welcome guests upon arrival with a friendly and professional demeanour.
• Provide information about menu items, specials, and dietary options to guests.
• Take orders accurately and relay them to the kitchen or bar staff.
• Assist in the setup and breakdown of all areas for events or busy service periods.
• Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the front of house area, including tables, chairs, and service stations.
• Handle customer inquiries and complaints promptly and professionally, ensuring guest satisfaction.
• Host children’s birthday parties with an upbeat and happy demeanour

Skills
• Background in hospitality, retail, or restaurant environments is preferred.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage positively with guests.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
• A team player who can collaborate well with colleagues across different departments.
• Flexibility in working hours, including some evenings and weekends as required. (More hours available during school holidays)

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: £7.55-£12.21 per hour
