Job DescriptionGeoTek Alaska seeks entry-level Field Technicians/Driller Helpers with mechanical skills and strong work ethic. The role involves assisting with drilling operations, equipment handling, and routine lifting of up to 50 lbs. Applicants must have a valid driver’s license, pass a physical, drug screening, and background check for military site access. Extensive travel is required (2–4 weeks per project) with significant overtime. Pay ranges from $16–$20/hour DOE, with benefits including health, vision, 401(k) matching, and paid time off. Extra training is provided, and skills such as welding, CDL, forklift, skid steer, or HAZWOPER certification are a plus. Veterans encouraged to apply.
