Key Duties

J Parle Transportation is seeking experienced Class A CDL Drivers to handle FedEx linehaul deliveries. This role focuses on the timely and safe transport of freight between local stations and regional hubs across the Houston Metro Area and Texas. Drivers will manage assigned PM single runs, ensuring cargo is delivered accurately and on schedule.

Primary responsibilities include:

• Operating Class A CDL trucks safely for intrastate deliveries.
• Transporting drop & hook freight, performing multi-stop deliveries, and returning freight to the North Houston home station as needed.
• Loading, unloading, and securing cargo efficiently.
• Planning routes to meet delivery deadlines while maintaining compliance with traffic laws and safety regulations.
• Conducting routine inspections of vehicles to ensure mechanical and safety standards are met.
• Keeping the truck clean, organized, and well-maintained at all times.
• Providing excellent customer service through professional and reliable delivery performance.

Requirements

• Minimum age of 22 years.
• Valid Class A CDL license.
• Current DOT Medical Card.
• Clean driving record (no DUIs, suspensions, and limited points/tickets).
• Ability to pass a criminal background check and drug screening.
• At least one year of driving experience, preferably in trucking or freight delivery.
• Strong time management skills, self-motivated, reliable, and energetic.
