The Role & Responsibilities
As an External Auditor, you will be responsible for evaluating financial records, ensuring compliance, and providing recommendations to clients:

Conduct external audits of client accounts, financial statements, and internal processes to ensure accuracy and compliance with applicable laws and standards.

Identify risks and discrepancies while analyzing financial data, highlighting areas for improvement or concern.

Prepare detailed audit reports with actionable recommendations for clients and senior management.

Coordinate with clients’ internal teams to gather necessary documentation and clarify accounting issues.

Stay updated on regulatory changes and ensure audits align with current accounting and tax standards.

Assist in maintaining quality control by adhering to firm policies, procedures, and ethical standards.
What We’re Looking For

Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; professional qualifications (CA, ACCA, or equivalent) preferred.

Previous experience in auditing, accounting, or financial analysis.

Strong analytical, problem-solving, and attention-to-detail skills.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English; knowledge of Sinhala/Tamil is a plus.

Ability to work independently and manage multiple clients or audit projects efficiently.
