Responsibilities

As an Evening Driver/Courier, your responsibilities include:

  • Ridesharing: Pick up and safely transport riders to their desired destinations within Calgary.

  • Route Management: Use the Uber app to navigate efficiently, ensuring timely and accurate deliveries or rides.

Requirements General Requirements

  • Minimum age: 21 years for ridesharing; 18–19 years for deliveries by bike or foot (province-dependent).

  • Valid driver’s license (for car-based roles) with the required years of driving experience.

  • Clear criminal background check.

  • Vehicle must meet age, insurance, and safety inspection standards (for car-based roles).

Requirements for Car Deliveries

  • Must have a 2-door or 4-door car in good working condition.

  • Valid vehicle insurance showing the driver’s name (scans or photocopies not accepted).

  • Current vehicle registration and safety inspection certificate.

  • Background screening through authorized third-party providers, including driving history check.

Requirements for Bike or Foot Deliveries

  • Minimum age 18–19 (province-dependent).

  • Proof of work eligibility in Canada.

  • Background screening through authorized third-party providers.

  • Foot deliveries are available in select Calgary locations only.
