Capital Drywall is a diverse interiors company serving Calgary and area for over 50 years. We specialize in full scope drywall and insulation services, for single family, multi family, and commercial projects.

We have longstanding partnerships with some of the cities top builders and a consistant work load throughout the year. For 2025 we are looking to expand with our current trades and need to grow our estimating department.

We are hiring a Commercial Estimator to join our team. This position will be responsible for preparing and analyzing estimates for both small and large-scale construction steel stud, and drywall projects. An ideal candidate for this role will have a background in commercial or construction, a comprehensive understanding of scopes of work including:

Fire Ratings/Firestopping

Steel Stud Framing

Drywall / Taping

Suspended Ceilings

and the ability to communicate effectively with clients.

Responsibilities:
• Estimate budgets.
• Establish and maintain relationship with subcontractors.
• Review various projects.
• Research and develop cost estimates for different projects.
• Confer with project architect to determine specifications of a building and design.
• Act as liaison between clients and subcontractors.
