Key Duties

The Director of Compliance, Research and Sponsored Programs at Children’s Hospital Colorado will oversee and manage the institution’s research initiatives and sponsored programs, ensuring all activities align with regulatory and institutional standards. This leadership role focuses on compliance, ethical oversight, and strategic management of research operations. Responsibilities include:

  • Developing, implementing, and maintaining the hospital’s research portfolio in adherence to all relevant policies and regulations.
  • Providing leadership and guidance to research staff, faculty, and external collaborators to ensure compliance with institutional and federal requirements.
  • Monitoring, reviewing, and reporting on research activities to maintain accuracy and regulatory adherence.
  • Interpreting complex research regulations and policies and offering actionable guidance to teams.
  • Facilitating communication among diverse stakeholders, including internal departments and external organizations.

Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in science, healthcare, business, or a related field. Advanced degrees preferred.
  • Minimum of five years of experience in research administration or compliance, preferably in a healthcare setting.
  • Knowledge of sponsored programs, regulatory requirements, and research policies.
  • Strong problem-solving, organizational, and management skills.
  • Exceptional communication skills and the ability to work with diverse teams and external partners.
