Job description For Director/Home Product Management – Consumer

Job Summary

Accountable to lead the product roadmap and vision of all services that are offered by the Etisalat Home Products marketing teams to end-users over the fixed network platform and systems of current and future. Responsible to identify and leverage new and future technologies and service delivery platforms that ensures all the of the products in the Home Products Roadmap are brought to market.
Responsibilities
• Manage the team that will ensure delivery of the products and services that are on the Home Products roadmap
• Communicate effectively with Head of Departments within Etisalat that support the team members in the overseeing of the products and services that are under implementation
• Ensure that all services leverage as many of the current platforms as possible so as to maximize the capital expenditures of the company and to negotiate as effectively as possible when required on the introduction of new technology and/or platform partners
• Ensure that all established processes of PIU and/or PLC are adhered to in by the Platform Unit team members as the products and services are development and brought to market
• Ensure that the documentation of all systems that each subsidiary operates, including APIs for various types of systems that new systems will be connected into that enables the delivery of media is complete and maintained by all key development team members

Required Skills
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering/IT or related discipline
• MBA is preferred
• 10-12 years of experience in the delivery of all types of content over all types of networks (e.g. cable TV, satellite, IP, Internet, mobile), including a solid track record of problem solving, system integration and planning in a cable TV, satellite TV, and/or telco/operator environment
