Job Title: Dental Practice Manager

Location: Rit Premium Dental Care – Liverpool, UK

Salary: £30,000 per annum + performance-based commission/bonus

About Us

Rit Premium Dental Care is a modern, patient-focused dental practice in Liverpool, dedicated to delivering the highest standards of clinical excellence and outstanding patient experience. We are now looking for an experienced and motivated Practice Manager to lead our team and drive the continued success of our practice.

Role Overview

As the Practice Manager, you will be responsible for the smooth and efficient running of the clinic. This includes managing the day-to-day operations, ensuring compliance with CQC and GDC standards, overseeing financial performance, supporting and developing the team, and ensuring exceptional service for our patients.

This role requires strong leadership, business acumen, and the ability to balance patient care with practice profitability.

Key Responsibilities
• Oversee all daily operations of the practice, ensuring efficiency and high-quality service.
• Manage staff recruitment, training, appraisals, and performance reviews.
• Monitor practice financial performance, budgets, and reporting, ensuring targets are achieved.
• Ensure compliance with CQC, GDC, health & safety, and all regulatory requirements.
• Lead and motivate the team, fostering a positive, professional, and patient-focused culture.
• Support clinicians and reception staff to deliver an exceptional patient journey.
• Develop and implement marketing initiatives to attract and retain patients.
• Conduct audits, manage risk assessments, and oversee infection prevention and control.

Skills & Qualifications
• Proven experience as a Dental Practice Manager (minimum 2 years in a similar role preferred).
• Strong knowledge of dental compliance (CQC, GDC standards, infection control). Excellent leadership and people management skills.
• Financial management and budget handling experience.
• Strong organisational and multitasking abilities, with great attention to detail.
• Effective communicator with excellent interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in dental software and practice management systems.
• Ability to work well under pressure, prioritising tasks to meet deadlines.
