Description

Acker, the oldest and most respected wine shop in America, is hiring reliable and energetic Seasonal Delivery Drivers to join our team during our peak season. This role is responsible for ensuring timely, accurate, and safe deliver of orders to customers while providing excellent service.

Duties And Responsibilities
• Safely operate company van to deliver packages to customer locations.
• Load, unload, and organize deliveries to ensure efficient routes.
• Verify and record deliveries, obtaining customer signatures as needed.
• Provide friendly, professional customer service at every stop.
• Follow all traffic laws, safety procedures, and company policies.
• Report vehicle issues, delays, or delivery concerns promptly.
• Assigned other duties as needed.

Requirements
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Prior delivery and driving experience throughout Manhattan and the Boroughs required.
• Ability to lift, carry, and move packages up to 50 pounds
• Strong time-management and organizational skills.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays during peak season.

Position Type
• Seasonal role. Duration may vary depending on business needs.
• Full-time or Part-Time hours available.
