Job description

Are you looking for a fast-paced, physically active job in a dynamic environment? We’re seeking motivated and reliable individuals to join our team as Bale Packers. This is a great opportunity for someone who thrives in a high-energy setting and has strong English communication skills.

What You’ll Do:
• Work as a team leader.
• Use of the Top Gun Scanning System
• Co-ordinate loading and unloading of trucks
• Co-ordinate removing finished product from production lines
• Co-ordinate feeding raw material to production lines
• Communication with Shipper Receiver, additional Forklift Operators, production workers, Production Supervisors and Production Manager
• Preparation of Bill of Lading’s and other paperwork as required.
• Assist in production as requested.
• Assist in daily clean up of warehouse.

What We’re Looking For:
• Ability to work in a physically demanding and fast-paced environment, including standing for long periods, bending, lifting (up to 50 lbs), and repetitive motion.
• Strong English language skills for clear communication with supervisors and team members regarding instructions, safety, and production issues.
• A strong commitment to safety and attention to detail.
• Reliable attendance and a strong work ethic.
• Previous experience in a warehouse, manufacturing, or similar industrial setting is a plus, but we are willing to train the right candidate.

Responsibilities
Safely operate a sit-down counterbalance/reach forklift in a yard and warehouse setting
Load and unload building materials from trucks
Move materials to designated areas
Perform daily equipment inspections and follow safety procedures
Assist with general yard labour and organizing inventory
Collaborate with the team to meet daily production and shipping goals

Qualifications
Valid external forklift license
Experience operating a sit-down counterbalance forklift
Strong knowledge of forklift safety and basic maintenance
Comfortable with heavy lifting and working outdoors
Strong English communication skills
