The Role & Responsibilities

The Corporate Accountant will play a pivotal role in managing the day-to-day financial operations of the investment management firm. This includes corporate accounting, financial reporting, and compliance with regulatory standards.

Core Responsibilities

Financial Reporting & Accounting

  • Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements for the firm.

  • Ensure compliance with IFRS and corporate accounting standards.

Investment Accounting

  • Monitor and reconcile investment portfolios, ensuring accurate valuation and reporting.

  • Collaborate with fund managers to provide financial insights and investment performance analysis.

Compliance & Controls

  • Ensure adherence to internal controls, corporate governance standards, and regulatory requirements.

  • Support audits, including liaising with external auditors and preparing audit schedules.

Corporate Financial Management

  • Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes.

  • Provide management with actionable insights to support strategic decision-making.


Qualifications & Experience

  • Education: Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.

  • Professional Qualification: ACA, ACCA, or equivalent.

  • Experience: At least 3–5 years in corporate accounting, preferably within investment management or financial services.

  • Technical Skills: Strong knowledge of accounting systems, IFRS, and financial reporting.

  • Soft Skills: Excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving abilities.
