• Location: Cocoa Beach, FL

• Salary: Competitive, based on experience

• Security Clearance: Interim Secret required; must be able to obtain TS/SCI with Counterintelligence polygraph

Key Duties

As a Construction Surveillance Technician II, you will provide security support for Sensitive Compartmented Information Facility (SCIF) and Special Access Program Facility (SAPF) construction projects. Key responsibilities include:

• Monitoring and documenting construction activities to support facility accreditation.

• Assessing security risks and identifying vulnerabilities, recommending improvements to procedures and policies.

• Managing and mentoring security team members, including assignment, training, and supervision of uniformed escorts.

• Enforcing customer Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and reporting security incidents promptly.

• Conducting inspections of delivered materials and ensuring compliance with security standards.

• Performing administrative support tasks as directed by site leadership.

• Completing required safety and physical security training, including OSHA courses and SAP-specific certifications.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree with 3–5 years of relevant experience, or 7–9 years of experience without a degree.

• Completion of Security Fundamentals Professional Certification (SFPC) and/or Special Program Security Certification (SPSC) preferred.

• Knowledge of ICD 705, SCIF requirements, and intelligence community physical and technical security standards.

• Ability to complete site-specific safety training, including OSHA 10, Fall Protection, and Confined Space certifications.

• Must be capable of obtaining TS/SCI clearance with Counterintelligence polygraph.

• Strong leadership, analytical, and communication skills.

• Eligible candidates must demonstrate attention to detail, reliability, and the ability to work in high-security environments.
