Augustus Media is seeking a dynamic and results-driven Commercial Executive to join our Abu Dhabi team. This part-time role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to the growth and success of our diverse media brands, including Lovin, Smashi, and Odeum. As a Commercial Executive, you will play a pivotal role in driving revenue, building client relationships, and executing innovative commercial strategies that align with our mission to be the leading modern media company in the Arab world.

The Role & Responsibilities

As a Commercial Executive, you will be responsible for driving the commercial success of Augustus Media’s brands in the Abu Dhabi market. Your key responsibilities will include:

1. Business Development

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities to expand the client base in Abu Dhabi.

  • Develop and implement strategies to acquire new clients and retain existing ones.

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including advertisers, agencies, and partners.

2. Sales & Revenue Generation

  • Achieve sales targets and revenue goals set by the company.

  • Develop and present compelling proposals to clients, showcasing the value of Augustus Media’s brands and platforms.

  • Negotiate contracts and agreements to maximize revenue while ensuring client satisfaction.

3. Market Analysis & Strategy

  • Conduct market research to understand industry trends, competitor activities, and client needs.

  • Provide insights and recommendations to the management team for strategic decision-making.

  • Collaborate with internal teams to develop tailored solutions that meet client objectives.

4. Brand Representation

  • Represent Augustus Media at industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities.

  • Promote the company’s brands and services to enhance visibility and brand awareness.

  • Serve as a brand ambassador, ensuring consistent messaging and positioning across all platforms.


Qualifications

Educational Background

  • A bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Media, or a related field is preferred.

Professional Experience

  • Proven experience in sales, business development, or commercial roles within the media industry.

  • Strong understanding of the MENA media landscape and advertising market dynamics.

Skills & Competencies

  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.

  • Ability to build and maintain relationships with clients and partners.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

  • Self-motivated with a results-oriented approach.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software.
