What can you do for me?
As a Canadian-trained teacher, you have an abundance of roles for you. We offer support and advice for newly migrated teachers, both in regards to teaching and relocating to new and exciting climes. We hold social events for our teachers, help with relocation, including accommodation and essentials, and, most importantly, steady, stable employment to suit you.
The successful candidate will:
• Have excellent subject knowledge in their respective teachable subjects
• Have experience of raising attainment in a challenging classroom environment
• Have a genuine belief in the potential of every child
• Have high expectations for all pupils
• Have a flexible can do attitude
• Successfully manage classes and deal with challenging behaviour
• Encourage students to reach their full potential
• Be patient and have a good sense of humour
Qualifications:
• Bachelor of Education or equivalent
• Be eligible to work in the UK (UK Passport, Youth Mobility Visa, Ancestry Visa)
• Successfully undergo criminal background checks
• Excellent communication skills
• Creative and innovative
• Have drive and tenacity
• Be a strong team player
• Organized with good time management
