Job Description

Position: Clinical Support Assistant
Location: Carlisle or Workington
Salary: As per NHS pay scales
Contract Type: Permanent / Fixed-term (details in job description)

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in delivering care for patients with mental health, cognitive, or learning disabilities

• Support recovery, wellbeing, and independence under registered practitioner guidance

• Provide compassionate, person-centred care

• Work effectively within a multidisciplinary team (nurses, OT, social workers, medical staff)

• Participate in supervision and appraisal processes

Requirements:

• Experience in a care setting (volunteer or paid)

• Senior Healthcare Support Worker qualification or working towards it

• Effective communication, teamwork, and ability to work under supervision

• IT skills desirable

• DBS clearance required
