Job DescriptionPosition: Clinical Support Assistant
Location: Carlisle or Workington
Salary: As per NHS pay scales
Contract Type: Permanent / Fixed-term (details in job description)
Key Responsibilities:

Assist in delivering care for patients with mental health, cognitive, or learning disabilities
-
Support recovery, wellbeing, and independence under registered practitioner guidance
-
Provide compassionate, person-centred care
-
Work effectively within a multidisciplinary team (nurses, OT, social workers, medical staff)
-
Participate in supervision and appraisal processes
Requirements:
-
Experience in a care setting (volunteer or paid)
-
Senior Healthcare Support Worker qualification or working towards it
-
Effective communication, teamwork, and ability to work under supervision
-
IT skills desirable
-
DBS clearance required
