Key Duties

Heartland Express is seeking experienced CDL A Truck Drivers to join our Texas regional fleet. In this role, you will:

• Operate dry van tractors across Texas and surrounding states with assigned routes.
• Run primarily no-touch, drop-and-hook freight to maximize efficiency.
• Maintain safety and compliance with DOT and company regulations.
• Complete pre- and post-trip inspections and accurate logging via ELD.
• Deliver freight on time while adhering to speed and operational standards (trucks run at 68 MPH).
• Communicate effectively with assigned driver managers and dispatch teams.

Requirements

To qualify for this position, applicants must meet the following:

• Valid Class A CDL with at least 12 months of tractor-trailer experience.
• Minimum age of 21 years.
• Strong safety record with clean MVR and proven driving history.
• Commitment to professional conduct and Heartland Express safety standards.
• Ability to work independently while maintaining punctuality and reliability.

• Truck Driver Pay Protection Plan: Minimum weekly pay of $1,060 ($55,000 annually).
