Key Duties

Big M Transportation is seeking experienced CDL-A team drivers to run over-the-road (OTR) routes across the eastern United States. Drivers will:

• Operate company trucks in a team environment to maximize miles and earnings.
• Deliver dry van freight ranging from raw materials to shelf-ready products.
• Utilize modern 2020–2024 Volvo and Freightliner trucks equipped with advanced technology.
• Participate in daily operations including freight pickup, delivery, and route management.
• Ensure adherence to all company safety procedures and DOT regulations.
• Maintain regular communication with your personal driver manager to optimize routes and schedules.

Requirements

• Valid CDL-A license with a minimum of 6 months of driving experience.
• Strong teamwork skills and the ability to coordinate schedules with a driving partner.
• Commitment to safety and compliance with DOT regulations, including hair follicle drug testing.
• Willingness to run long-haul routes with home time every 10–14 days.

Pay & Benefits

• Earn 72 cents per mile, averaging $200,000+ annually for team drivers.
• Orientation pay: $500 for new hires, with a 2.5-day training session.
• Mileage and safety bonuses: +$0.02/mile each.
• Average weekly miles: 2,500–3,000 per driver.
