- Salary: $1,500 – $1,850 per week (based on experience and miles)
Key Duties
Seward Motor Freight, Inc. is seeking reliable and experienced CDL-A truck drivers for over-the-road (OTR) positions. Drivers will:
- Operate assigned trucks on designated regional and national routes, maintaining freight safety and delivery schedules.
- Handle primarily no-touch freight (95%) with a 75% drop & hook system.
- Maintain equipment assigned to them; trucks are not shared (no slip seating) until promotion.
- Communicate with Driver Managers and provide timely updates on route progress.
- Follow all company and DOT safety regulations while transporting general commodities across approved regions.
- Receive layover and detention pay when applicable.
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of CDL-A driving experience.
- Ability to operate dry box vans safely and efficiently.
- Strong commitment to safety and customer service.
- Must be willing to travel within Seward Motor Freight’s service area: west to Salt Lake City, south to Dallas/Austin, east to Harrisonburg, VA, and north to Chicago and Minneapolis.
- No haz-mat endorsement required; restricted travel to NYC/Canada.
