Job Description

The Diesel Technology Program at UAS is hiring adjunct faculty to teach courses in Diesel/Heavy Duty, Diesel/Marine, and Mine Mechanics. Responsibilities include classroom instruction, hands-on training, mentoring, advising, and supporting student success. Candidates should have an associate’s or bachelor’s degree, at least 2 years of relevant experience, strong communication skills, and a commitment to inclusive learning. Teaching experience in vocational or technical fields is preferred. This part-time, temporary pooled position is based at the Technology Education Center in Juneau. Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis, and the role requires compliance with background checks and university policies.
