Key Duties

Fixtures International is seeking a skilled Cabinet Maker to craft custom cabinets, counters, and showcases. In this role, you will interpret blueprints and specifications to build high-quality wood products, assemble components, and apply finishing touches. Key responsibilities include:

• Operating woodworking machinery such as saws, jointers, mortisers, tenoners, molders, and shapers, along with various hand tools.
• Reading and following blueprints to ensure precise fabrication of components.
• Trimming and adjusting parts for proper fit and alignment.
• Preparing surfaces for finishing, including laminating, edge-banding, and installing hardware.
• Controlling material and equipment usage to maintain cost efficiency.
• Traveling in-state and out-of-state for installations as required.
• Maintaining personal tools and ensuring they are ready for daily use.

Requirements

• Proven experience in woodworking or cabinet making.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints accurately.
• Skilled in the use of woodworking machinery and hand tools.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality craftsmanship.
• Willingness to travel for installation projects.
• Ownership of necessary tools for daily operations.
