Job description

Multi-Award Winning Keenan Healthcare – Proudly a Top Tier supplier of staff to the NHS.

Now recruiting for a Full-Time Band 5 Biomedical Scientist (Cellular Pathology), ), to be based within a main hospital in Derry / Londonderry.

Suitable applicants must meet the Criteria below:

Biomedical Scientist (Band 5) – Must be registered with the HCPC as a Biomedical Scientist

OR

Trainee Biomedical Scientist (Band 5) – Must possess an IBMS accredited Biomedical Science degree (as currently listed on the IBMS website. Guide to IBMS accredited honours degree level biomedical science courses) or hold a non-IBMS accredited science degree acceptable to the IBMS and have completed all necessary “top up modules” AND complete HCPC registration as a Biomedical Scientist within 12 months of employment. Please detail on your application form which University you attended.

AND

Hold a current full driving license which is valid for use in the UK and have access to a car on appointment. This criteria will be waived in the case of applicants whose disability prohibits driving but who have access to a form of transport approved by the Trust which will permit them to carry out the duties of the post

You will be willing to undergo an Enhanced Access NI through Keenan.
