Job description

Our client, A Big 5 Bank here in Canada, is looking to hire for a Bilingual (English/French) Processing Officer to join their wealth department in downtown Toronto. This role is Hybrid, 4 days a week in office and 1 day a week from home.
• *Bilingual (French/English) candidates who are recent graduates from a university OR college program in Business, Commerce, Finance, Economics OR are interested in mutual funds and investments are encouraged to apply.

Job Details

The team is within mutual fund operations. They are the back office operations. Candidates will process trades and transactions for retail partners and third party vendors. It’s a processing role. There is a workflow system called KTA, it’s an imaging system, which is new to the bank. Work comes in imaged. Candidates are expected to work off of a scanned copy of a client request. They are translating and inputting it into the book of records. It’s a lot of data entry in this role. There is a level of analysis required though for some transactions. Ex) RESP / RIFFS, there might be some calculations required.

MUST HAVES:

1) Candidates junior in experience (Open to candidates who have just finished post secondary)

2) MS Office & Technology (Basic level: Excel: Use spreadsheets, manipulate columns, run basic macros)

3) Bilingual French – STRONG WRITTEN as this role will be predominately translating documents in French to English

Employee Value Proposition (EVP)

Opportunity to extend contract OR convert permanently with the bank.

Work Environment – 4x a week in the office and 1x day a week work from home.

Training: Fully onsite. Can be for a few weeks/longer depending on how quickly candidate picks things up

Hours: 10am-6:30PM.

Duration: 6 month contract with opportunity of extension OR conversion to permanent

Pay: $23 – $25/hr
