Role & Responsibilities

As an Arts Coordinator, you will play a central role in planning and executing arts programs, ensuring every event reflects the company’s vision and meets community expectations. Key responsibilities include:

Program Development

  • Design and develop arts programs, exhibitions, workshops, and community events that align with the company’s mission.

  • Collaborate with artists, cultural organizations, and educators to create engaging, educational, and innovative experiences.

  • Conduct research on arts trends and audience preferences to inform program development.

Event Management

  • Coordinate all logistical aspects of arts events, including scheduling, venue arrangements, equipment, and staffing.

  • Oversee the execution of events to ensure they run smoothly, on time, and within budget.

  • Troubleshoot challenges during events and implement solutions proactively.

Community Engagement

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with artists, participants, and community stakeholders.

  • Implement outreach initiatives to engage diverse audiences, including schools, cultural organizations, and the general public.

  • Collect feedback and evaluate the impact of programs to improve future initiatives.

Budget and Resource Management

  • Assist in preparing and managing budgets for arts programs and events.

  • Ensure resources such as materials, equipment, and personnel are efficiently utilized.

  • Monitor expenses and report financial updates to senior management.

Marketing and Promotion

  • Work with the marketing team to develop promotional campaigns that increase awareness and attendance for arts programs.

  • Support the creation of event collateral, digital content, and social media campaigns.

  • Track engagement metrics to measure the success of promotional efforts.

Administrative Duties

  • Maintain accurate records of programs, partnerships, and participant information.

  • Prepare detailed reports on program outcomes, including attendance, engagement, and feedback.

  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and organizational policies during events.


Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Arts Management, Cultural Studies, or a related field. Knowledge of art history, contemporary arts, and creative programming is an advantage.

  • Experience: Minimum of 1-3 years of experience in arts coordination, event management, or cultural programming. Experience with community engagement and partnerships is preferred.

  • Skills: Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills. Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and work under tight deadlines.

  • Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with event management tools, social media platforms, and basic design software for promotional purposes.

  • Personal Attributes: Creativity, problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and passion for arts and culture.
