Key Duties

iPianoLab is seeking passionate part-time music instructors and classroom assistants to join our after-school music enrichment program. In this role, you will:

• Teach beginner group piano classes to elementary students, using our fun and engaging curriculum.
• Assist students in developing foundational keyboard skills and fostering a love for music.
• Prepare the classroom, set up instruments, and ensure a smooth class flow.
• Provide guidance and support to students, encouraging practice and participation.
• Collaborate with other staff to maintain a positive, structured learning environment.

Requirements

• Must be cleared through Federal and New York State background checks and legally authorized to work in the U.S.
• Reliable, punctual, and committed to teaching young students.
• At least an intermediate level keyboard player, with willingness to improve skills.
• Experience with elementary students is preferred but not required; training is provided.
• Flexibility to work after school hours in designated locations such as Upper East Side.

Pay & Benefits

• Compensation ranges from $75 per class for assistants to $150 per class for lead instructors, based on experience, class size, and duration.
