Key Duties

Mathnasium is seeking enthusiastic and approachable instructors who are passionate about helping students succeed in math. As an Advanced Math Instructor, you will create a welcoming and engaging learning environment for students in grades Algebra through Calculus. Your role will include:

• Providing individualized math instruction to help students grasp complex concepts in Algebra, Geometry, Pre-Calculus, Calculus, and Statistics.

• Motivating students and fostering a positive, productive, and confidence-building environment.

• Tracking student progress and communicating effectively with Center Managers and team members.

• Assisting with operational functions as required to support the center’s daily activities.

• Collaborating with colleagues to implement best practices in instruction and student engagement.

Requirements

• Proficiency in advanced math concepts, including Algebra 1 & 2, Geometry, Pre-Calculus, Calculus, and Statistics.

• Strong interpersonal skills to connect with both students and parents.

• Experience working with children is preferred but not mandatory.

• High school diploma or G.E.D. required; some college coursework preferred.

• Ability to pass a Mathnasium-administered upper-level math proficiency test.

• Flexible schedule to accommodate afternoon, evening, and weekend sessions.
