Key Duties

Florida Memorial University is seeking a dedicated Adjunct Faculty member to support its Healthcare Program within the Division of Arts and Sciences. In this role, you will facilitate student success by delivering high-quality instruction in healthcare-related courses, both in-person and online/hybrid formats. Core responsibilities include:

• Teaching one or two healthcare courses per semester using approved syllabi and course materials.

• Meeting regularly with students for consultation, providing guidance and feedback on their progress.

• Developing curricula, maintaining accurate records, and assessing student learning outcomes.

• Participating in faculty meetings, program assessment, and other activities to enhance academic quality.

• Ensuring compliance with university, state, and accreditation standards for healthcare education.

• Collaborating with colleagues to continuously improve instructional methods and student learning experiences.

Requirements

• Master’s degree in a healthcare-related field from a regionally accredited institution.

• At least five years of relevant clinical or non-clinical healthcare experience.

• Minimum of two years teaching experience in higher education.

• Familiarity with Learning Management Systems (e.g., Blackboard, Canvas) and proficiency in MS Office Suite.

• Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with a diverse student population.

• Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise professionalism in all academic interactions.
