Job Description

The University of Alaska, Anchorage is hiring adjunct instructors in the Department of Quantitative Studies to teach mathematics and statistics courses at 0- and 100-levels, including Elementary Statistics. Adjunct instructors work part-time on a semester basis and are hired as needed. Responsibilities include teaching, using accepted instruction methods, communicating clearly, and providing support to students. Candidates must have a bachelor’s or master’s degree in a relevant field and at least 2 years of experience. Strong communication, public speaking, and customer service skills are required. Positions are union-represented and may be cancelled based on university needs.
