The Role & Responsibilities
As our Accountant, you will play a critical role in managing day-to-day finance functions while supporting business decisions with accurate reporting.

Maintain accurate financial records including ledgers, reconciliations, invoices, and payment logs to ensure all transactions are properly documented.

Prepare monthly financial statements and reports to present insights on cash flow, profitability, and budgeting to management.

Ensure compliance with local tax regulations by managing tax filings, EPF/ETF payments, and liaising with auditors or external consultants when needed.

Monitor accounts payable and receivable to help maintain healthy cash flow and follow up with clients when necessary.

Collaborate with internal teams to streamline expenses and contribute to cost-saving strategies without affecting service quality.
What We’re Looking For

A degree or professional qualification in Accounting, Finance, or related field (AAT/ICASL/CIMA partly or fully qualified is a plus).

Working knowledge of accounting software (QuickBooks / Tally / ERP systems).

Strong attention to detail, integrity, and sense of responsibility.

Good communication skills in English and Sinhala, along with a collaborative mindset.

Ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
