Job Description

The UAA Department of Recreation is hiring Sales Associates to support operations at the AVIS Alaska Sports Complex. Responsibilities include cash handling, reconciling receipts, customer service, emergency protocol assistance, and proper food handling at concessions. No prior experience is required, but candidates must complete required training (Food Handling, PCI Compliance, Title IX, BBS, and Harassment Prevention) within 30 days of hire. Preferred qualifications include CPR, AED, and First Aid certification. This student position pays $12.03/hour, is capped at 20 hours per week during classes, and requires enrollment in at least 6 credits with a 2.0 GPA minimum.
