Key Duties

As a Junior Account Manager with Eagle Rock Distributing Company, you will be responsible for growing sales and strengthening relationships within assigned 7-Eleven retail accounts in South Colorado Springs. Core responsibilities include:

• Building and maintaining strong customer relationships with store managers and decision-makers.
• Promoting and selling supplier brands through consultative sales strategies.
• Managing product inventory, rotation, and removal of expired or close-to-code items.
• Coordinating product displays, promotional programs, and in-store marketing campaigns.
• Securing prime product placement within coolers, shelving, and floor displays.
• Placing and maintaining branded point-of-sale (POS) materials to enhance visibility.
• Collaborating with delivery teams and merchandisers to execute daily responsibilities.
• Ensuring compliance with company policies, procedures, and industry regulations.
• Attending company meetings and contributing to ongoing personal and professional development.

Requirements

• Education: High school diploma or GED required; bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Experience: Prior sales or distribution experience preferred; background in beverage/alcohol industry is a plus.
• Skills & Abilities:
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.
  • Excellent communication and customer service abilities.
  • Proficiency with sales tools, tablets, and basic office software.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
  • Must meet company MVR and insurability standards for operating a company vehicle.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to regularly lift and carry up to 30 lbs. and occasionally up to 70 lbs. (with or without assistance).
• Frequent sitting, standing, walking, bending, and reaching overhead.
• Work performed primarily in retail store environments, with occasional warehouse and office work.
• Exposure to varying temperatures and weather conditions.
