Schedule: 3 hours/day, 6 days/week (fixed hours; overlap with Asia/Qatar, UTC+03:00)

Contract: Part-time (remote)

Role Overview

We’re hiring a detail-driven technical assistant to support tendering and engineering deliverables. You will handle RFQs (clarifications, BOQs, estimates), prepare professional drawings (mainly Architectural and Civil/Infrastructure; occasional Interior), produce 3D visuals when needed, and draft/review technical documents (method statements, inspection reports). You will work closely with the Deputy Managing Director and deliver to Qatar standards

Key Responsibilities

Tendering & QS
• Review RFQ packs; extract scope, exclusions, and risks; draft clarification queries for approval and submission.
• Prepare quantified BOQs from drawings/specs (measurement rules, take-off sheets, marked-up PDFs).
• Build cost estimates (materials, labor, equipment/plant, prelims, risk/contingency) and submit for margin/P&L review.
• Maintain a tender log, assumptions register, and supplier quotation tracker.
• Build and maintain an efficient pricing database for rapid RFQ turnaround.

CAD & 3D
• Produce/modify 2D drawings (plans, sections, details) to office title blocks; enforce layers, dimensions, and plotting standards.
• Create 3D renders/visualizations for concept presentations and projects.
• Design drawings, Shop Drawings, Survey Drawings (Architectural, Infrastructure, Civil, Steel Structure, Interior)

Coordination
• Liaise with suppliers for quotations and datasheets; prepare technical/commercial comparisons.
• Communicate daily progress and meet turnaround and quality KPIs.
