Job Description

Government of Alberta is looking for Senior Project Manager

The Senior Project Manager’s responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:

· Preparing and executing project plans

· Establishing and operating control processes including schedule management, status reporting, issues, risk, and change management at the program level

· Closely monitoring project activities and taking corrective action to ensure project schedules are being met

· Assigning work and managing project team members, mentoring and providing direction as required

· Facilitating and/or leading requirements gathering activities

· Producing deliverables within specified quality standards

· Escalating issues and risks, as appropriate

· Manage on-call schedule to ensure proper support for operationalized components is in place to meet Ministry business requirements

· Communicating project status and issues, as appropriate
