The Role & Responsibilities

As a Permanent Part-Time Nanny, you will provide a mix of daily care, age-appropriate learning activities, and help with household tasks relating to the children.

Childcare Responsibilities

  • Daily Routine & Supervision
    Ensure children are safe, well-cared-for, and supported throughout their daily routine, including playtime, meals, naps, and after-school activities.

  • Educational Play and Development
    Engage children with age-appropriate learning games, reading, crafts, and outdoor play that encourage growth and curiosity.

  • School or Nursery Runs
    Support with drop-offs and pick-ups, preparing lunchboxes, or organising school bags as needed (driving licence or confidence using local transport may be required).

Household Support (Child-Related)

  • Meal Preparation
    Prepare nutritious meals and snacks for the children, catering to any dietary preferences or routines.

  • Tidy Children’s Areas
    Keep play areas, the nursery, and children’s rooms tidy and organised, and assist with laundry related to the children.

  • Communicate with Parents
    Maintain clear updates with the parents on daily routines, progress, or any concerns.


Qualifications & Experience

  • Previous Nanny or Childcare Experience
    Experience working with children (as a nanny, nursery practitioner, childminder, teaching assistant, or similar) is essential.

  • Childcare Certifications (Desirable)
