The Role & Responsibilities

As a Nanny Instructor, you will be responsible for educating, mentoring, and supervising nannies to ensure they meet the high standards set by Lumi Nanny. Your role will combine practical training with theoretical knowledge, equipping nannies with the skills required to provide exceptional care.

Training and Instruction

Design and deliver training programs that cover child safety, nutrition, early childhood development, and behavioral management.
Provide hands-on demonstrations of caregiving techniques to help trainees understand best practices in real-life scenarios.
Monitor and evaluate trainees’ progress, offering constructive feedback to enhance performance and professional growth.

Mentorship and Support

Act as a mentor and role model for new and existing nannies, fostering a culture of continuous learning and personal development.
Offer guidance on problem-solving within challenging childcare situations, ensuring nannies are equipped to handle emergencies and daily caregiving tasks.
Encourage professional ethics, emphasizing punctuality, communication, and respect in client interactions.

Curriculum Development

Develop and update training materials to incorporate the latest research in early childhood education and childcare practices.
Collaborate with the management team to ensure training programs align with Lumi Nanny’s mission, standards, and client expectations.
Ensure compliance with UAE regulations and international best practices in childcare and safety.

Administrative Duties

Maintain records of trainee performance and certifications to track progress and ensure readiness for client placements.
Prepare reports for management highlighting the outcomes of training programs and areas for improvement.
Coordinate with parents and families, providing insight into the skills and readiness of trained nannies for placement.

Qualifications

Educational Background

Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, or a related field is preferred.
Relevant certifications in child care, first aid, and safety are highly desirable.

Professional Experience

Minimum of 3 years of experience working as a professional nanny or childcare educator.
Experience in training or mentoring staff within a childcare or educational setting is advantageous.

Technical Skills

Strong knowledge of child development stages, safety protocols, and caregiving techniques.
Ability to use digital tools for lesson planning, training, and documentation.
Proficiency in creating educational resources, including activity plans, training manuals, and evaluation tools.

Personal Attributes
