The Role & Responsibilities

As a Part-Time Physiotherapist at Pegasus Home Healthcare, you will be responsible for providing in-home physiotherapy services to patients recovering from injury, surgery, or managing chronic conditions. This role requires clinical expertise, empathy, and excellent communication skills to ensure patients receive the highest standard of care.

Key Responsibilities

Patient Assessment and Treatment Planning

Conduct thorough assessments of patients’ physical abilities and limitations to determine appropriate treatment plans.
Develop and implement personalized physiotherapy programs to enhance mobility, strength, and overall physical function.
Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure holistic care for patients.

Therapeutic Intervention

Provide hands-on physiotherapy treatments, including exercises, manual therapy, and use of therapeutic equipment, based on patient needs.
Monitor and document patients’ progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary to achieve optimal outcomes.
Educate patients and caregivers on exercises, posture, and lifestyle adjustments to support long-term recovery and prevent further injury.

Administrative and Reporting Duties

Maintain accurate records of treatments, sessions, and patient progress in accordance with company policies and healthcare regulations.
Communicate effectively with the healthcare team regarding patient conditions, progress, and any changes in treatment requirements.
Schedule visits efficiently to maximize patient coverage and ensure timely delivery of services.

Health and Safety Compliance

Ensure all treatments are conducted in accordance with established safety standards and protocols.
Follow infection control procedures and maintain a clean, safe, and professional environment during in-home visits.

Qualifications

Educational Background

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Physiotherapy from an accredited institution.
Registration or licensure to practice physiotherapy in the United Arab Emirates is mandatory.

Professional Experience

Prior experience in clinical or home-based physiotherapy is highly desirable.
Experience with patients recovering from surgery, injury, or managing chronic conditions is preferred.

Skills and Competencies

Strong clinical knowledge of physiotherapy techniques, exercises, and rehabilitation equipment.
